New 'The Surge 2' trailer offers action-packed look at its brutal gameplay

The Surge became a sleeper hit with its 2022 launch on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, largely by merging Dark Souls-like gainsay with greater accessibility. Now, publisher Focus Home Interactive is preparing to launch the game'southward follow-upwards, and it took to Gamescom to show off the get-go $.25 of gameplay. And things are just every bit brutal.

The trailer showcases the new and enigmatic Park sector, located in the middle of a city ravaged by the events of The Surge. Devious mercenaries called The Hunters roam the artificial, homo-made wood, searching for a powerful creature. Beware their traps, their cunning cloaking devices, and most of all, the out-of-control erstwhile park guardians.
